My son's name is Sterling, so when you say "come on Sterling" and say it shortened it is 'mon Ster. So I had to make a monster page when Digi Kitty offered the monster stamp free.

Halloween card

I made this card using Digi Kitty's candy cane stamp.

Challenge for Digi Kitty

The challenge was to make a card using fall colors. I knew what I wanted to do for my card, but I had to finish the Halloween books before I could start on my card. The card was quick and easy once I had the leaves cut out.

Halloween Accordian Books

I made 19 more Halloween books with jokes for my sons class. I made these very simple and used alot of spooks from Paper Dolls. Here are just a few I made

more Disney layouts

Just a couple of the ones I did. Only twenty more layouts to make and my Disney album will be done.

Missed Scrapbooking

I didn't scrapbook much for the last month and this is what I was doing. We hired a guy to sheetrock and texture the craft room and hubby replced the water softener. Now I'm waiting on hubby to build a closet around the water softener and then finish the wall with storage, instead of the metal rack. Then we can put carpet on the floor. I went on a head and put most of the crafting stuff in the room so I could use the garage again.

My second project which was not planned to happen at the same time was to paint my sons room. We decided to do a camoflauge theme. I love the way his room turned out. A friend of our is suppose to give us some campflauge mesh which we are going to hang across the ceiling and then his room is done.

Pumpkin layout

A couple of layouts and a card. Jack, the pumpkin, and the owl are from Digi Kitty. The Happily Ever After layout was my first attempt at using a sketch. I like the way it turned out. I am going to challenge myself to use more sketches.

Thank you invitations

I made 20 Thank You cards as a gift for a friend who is having a baby shower this weekend. I used brown ribbon to tie them as a package. I challenged myself to use only what I had at home. The pattern paper is DCWV Nursery. I did not have the right colored flowers so I used a large flower punch and for the center I used Martha Stewarts snowflake punch.

Scraping the Simple Moments

I tend to only scrapbook vacations, holidays, birthdays and events. But I realized, its the simple moments that need to be remembered. 20 Years from now I will still have memories of trips, holidays, etc. but will I remember the businesses my daughter started, the funny remarks my son said, probably not. I've set a new goal, to scrap all the precious moments and to do it now. I have a drawer full of businesses my daughter has started in the last six months and not a one do I have scrapped. Instead of waiting to scrap these pages when I have time and embellish the pages, I'm going to make these pages simple, just journaling and the artwork. I'd rather have not perfect pages and the memories, then to have forgotten these simple moments years later.

Challenge

I need a title for our fireworks pages. So I did this as a Stacked Title challenge.

Belle

This was done a Disney swap. Belle just looks like she should be picking some flowers. the next time I do a page similar to this one I want to try using flowersoft.

Pocahantus

I did this for a Disney swap. The trees are a stamp used with several colors. Pocahanus and Meeko are from Dreams Come True. The stump is my paper piece. I really like making theme pages.

Tear Bear

This is my first Tear Bear. I'm making a friend ten baby brag books.

Disney Layouts

These are the layouts I completed last week from our Disney vacation last summer. I'm a little behind but hoping to catch up soon. I spent one afternoon cutting all the letters and diecuts and then made page kits. So when I have a few free minutes and can put together the pages for my album. My Goal is to have this album finished before September 1.
